Evanesce of the Beloved Bee

 

4 years ago in the summer I experienced an affinity with the Bee.

They followed me, they landed on my arms and legs, they tickled my face.

They were present, offering me affection from morning until late afternoon…for 3 days.

I have never been stung. I have always wondered if they were trying to say goodbye.

This memory will never leave me, but the silence left by their absence will echo throughout all eternity.
