Wine-box with Radio (eff-yeah!!):

“Our mission is to communicate the joys of Africa through our Afro Cafes and our Afro branded products. The fact that the African people are so wonderfully not self-conscious at all, their humour and freedom and their style and design. Hopefully we can convey this spirit and enhance the lives of people who consume our product and sip coffee listening to Afro Tunes at our cafes. For South Africa, we try to show just how cool Afro culture actually is and instill a sense of confidence into people to make them realize what they already are. Lofty ideals but we’ll have a go!”

It finally happened. Seemingly overnight. The baby-making laboratory finally grew to resemble a pregnant lady’s distended belly! Five months and it finally happened. I tried to get dressed for work, couldn’t do up my pants or capris……7 pairs of them.

I’ve been extremely fortunate so far, I’m carrying low and internally so these past five months I haven’t looked pregnant. Now? There’s no mistaking it. A 6.5” baby-android is inside of that clandestine laboratory conducting biological experiments with DNA and quantum physics.

It’s time to invest in……elastic waistbanded stuff??? Eck. This will be a struggle.

Incidentally, I wear a 6.5 size shoe. I wonder if the baby-android will build Mommy a pair of Dior platform sparklies? Maybe I should eat more leather. And swarozki crystals…

Yesterday it was monotone outside but inside my skullcap an evil concerto was playing on with such clamor that I was certain one my eyes would pop out on some high beat percussionary BANG. If I could have climbed into my own djembe & hidden in the void, alongside baby, I would have….folded up all neatly, tucking arms in at sides, shoulders rounded, breath held, inside me to inside out could have been a quiet escape.

Italian architect David Fisher designs first rotating skyscraper, the Dynamic Tower. The Dynamic Tower offers infinite design possibilities, as each floor rotates independently at different speeds, resulting in a unique and ever evolving shape that introduces a fourth dimension to architecture, Time.

The Dynamic Tower is environmentally friendly, with the ability to generate electricity for itself as well as other buildings nearby making it the first building designed to be self-powered, it achieves this feat with wind turbines fitted between each rotating floor. An 80-story building will have up to 79 wind turbines, making it a true green power plant.

The Dynamic Tower is also the first skyscraper to be built entirely from prefabricated parts that are custom made in a workshop, resulting of fast construction and of substantial cost savings . this approach known as the Fisher Method, also requires far less workers on construction site while each floor of the building can be completed in only seven days, units can also be customized according to the owners needs and styles.

The first two towers are to be built in Dubai and Moscow. Completed building in Dubai by the end of 2010.
